A former Liverpool striker has sent a transfer message to Manchester United forward Cristiano Ronaldo.
The future of the United striker has been the subject of plenty of speculation throughout the summer. Ronaldo is widely reported to have submitted a transfer request earlier in the summer, but is still under contract at Old Trafford.
Recent speculation has claimed that French club Marseille could make a move for Ronaldo. This has led to a former Liverpool striker sending the Portugal international a message requesting him to move to one of his favourite clubs.

Former Reds frontman Djibril Cisse has sent a message to Ronaldo on social media. Cisse. After leaving Liverpool in 2007, Cisse went on the move to Marseille and went on to make 80 appearances for the French club.
Now Cisse has sent a message requesting Ronaldo to move to Marseille. “Cristiano, come my friend, I will look after you #RonaldoOM,” wrote Cisse on Twitter.
Cisse retired from professional football in 2021, ending a 20-year player career. During his time at Liverpool, Cisse made 79 appearances and scored 24 goals.
