Former Liverpool striker Dominic Solanke has admitted he will have a point to prove should Bournemouth secure their return to the Premier League.
The Cherries currently sit second in the Championship table, in the final automatic promotion slot, six points clear of third-placed Huddersfield Town and with two games in hand. With the campaign fast-approaching its climax, Scott Parker's side are looking good value to reach the top-flight once again.
Key to the team's success this season has been Solanke, who has scored a total of 24 league goals - a tally only bettered by Fulham's Aleksandar Mitrovic. Should his success in front of goal translate in the opportunity to perform on the highest stage, the Bournemouth forward is ready to prove his worth.

HAVE YOUR SAY: Can Liverpool win the quadruple?
The 24-year-old managed only one Premier League goal to his name during the 2017/18 campaign with Liverpool and was sold by the Reds for a reported fee of £19million during the 2019 January transfer window after lacking consistent game time.
Solanke's record of three top-flight strikes in 42 outings that followed at Bournemouth did little to justify his price tag, but he has insisted he is ready to set the record straight over his ability to perform at the highest level after maturing as a player in the second tier.
Asked if he has a point to prove to himself and others, he told Sky Sports. "For sure. I am in a much better position now than I was previously. I'm definitely looking forward to hopefully getting back there [the Premier League] and showing what I can do.
"The quality in our squad is probably one of the best in the league. Automatic promotion and trying to fight for top spot has definitely been the goal from day one. It is always going to be difficult towards the business end of the season. On a personal note, I just need to try and carry on what I've been doing the majority of the season. If we stick together as a squad and all play our part, I think it is definitely there for us," added the Chelsea academy graduate.
