Real Madrid forward Rodrygo has been criticised by a former Liverpool player following his comments about Mohamed Salah.
The Brazilian recently made comments about Salah relating to the Champions League final, which Liverpool lost 1-0 in Paris. Vinicius Jr scored the only goal of the game at the Stade de France last month.
In a recent interview, Rodrygo spoke about how the Real Madrid players used Salah’s comments before the game as motivation. The Egyptian used terms like “revenge” in the build-up to the final, and also expressed his desire to face the Spanish club before their place in the showpiece was confirmed.

"When a guy provokes, sometimes you just want to win so you can make fun of them," Rodrygo told the Podpah podcast, as reported by Brasil Edition.
"In training we used to say 'come Salah, come Salah'… in our head it was already 'we have to win to then make fun of Salah'."
"When the game was over, the Real Madrid players made a runner," added Rodrygo. "Liverpool were passing by, Salah was going through a little sad, head down.
"Modric looked at him and said: 'Thank you, Salah, next time you try again.' I started laughing."
These comments have not gone down well with former Liverpool defender Jose Enrique, who took to Twitter to criticise Rodrygo. Enrique issued a “be careful” warning to the 21-year-old forward.
Enrique tweeted: “Rodrygo you are very young so be careful because maybe very soon [it will] come back to you too, and I really hope so for opening your mouth too much.”
