Leeds United were dealt a boost in their bid to remain in the Premier League this season, as Burnley slipped to a 1-0 defeat against top-four hopefuls Spurs. England captain Harry Kane scored the game's only goal from the penalty spot, as Antonio Conte's side picked up a vital three points.
Leeds currently still occupy the division's final relegation place, with just two games now remaining until the end of the 2021/22 campaign. BT Sport pundits Paul Robinson and Rio Ferdinand offered their own verdicts on the game's biggest talking point, with the pair agreeing that the decision was perhaps a little too harsh on the Clarets.
"If that had gone against Spurs, they’d be livid. It’s ball to hand. Some penalty by the way, side netting," Ferdinand said on BT Sport.

"As it is now, the referee was in a position where he couldn’t do anything else," Robinson added. "It’s a soft penalty.
"Something like that cost them the game, but you can understand the referee was in a position where he had to give it,'' he continued.
United will hope Burnley fail to register another point as they make the trip to Villa Park next week. The Clarets then round off their season with a tricky test against Newcastle United.
