Former Leeds United defender Ian Harte believes the Whites have shown enough for Premier League survival. The Whites ended their eight game winless run with a late winner to end Liverpool's 29-game unbeaten Premier League run at Anfield.
Jesse Marsch's side picked up a second win over sides in the top six, having beaten Chelsea in emphatic style earlier in the season. That was the last win for the American head coach prior to beating the Reds, a run of form that saw Leeds plummet down the table.
The Whites spent last week in the relegation zone with supporters fearing for their Premier League status after disappointing defeats to Fulham and Leicester City. However, Harte believes the win at Liverpool will now be a catalyst for their season moving forward.

He told Bet365.com: "To be honest I think he did well last season and this season. To beat Chelsea at Elland Road - the start that they had, people are going to say, 'Oh my God, Leeds are going to be right up there.'
"They had a bit of a blip, but I think every team goes through that. Hopefully that win against Liverpool can push them on now.
"I think the strength they're putting forward is definitely good enough. I think they added some very good players in the summertime and they just needed a win, which they got at Liverpool.
"Hopefully they can build on that. I think the next game they have is Bournemouth at home, so if they can get a win there I think it will start pushing them up the table."
When asked the reason behind the eight game winless run, Harte said: "No idea, but let's be honest, Man United had a bad start and look at the roll they're on at the moment. I think every team goes through it, and let's hope that Leeds are at the other end of it now and can build in form."
