Former Leeds United boss Neil Warnock linked with yet another return to management

Former Leeds United boss Neil Warnock has been linked with a move back into management with Rotherham United by bookmakers Sky Bet.

The Millers lost manager Paul Warne to Derby County earlier this week in a move that will see the former Rotherham boss move down to League One from the Championship.

Warnock, who managed Leeds between February 2012 and April 2013 retired from management earlier this year with his last spell in management seeing him leave Middlesborough in October 2021.

However, bookmakers Sky Bet reckon Warnock could be tempted back into the hot seat with Rotherham, a club the 73-year-old has already previously managed.

Former Bristol City boss Dean Holden is the bookmakers favourite for the Millers job at 13/8 while Gareth Ainsworth and Paul Hurst are each given odds of 5/2.

Cambridge United boss Mark Bonner is next at 8/1 before Warnock makes his appearance on the bookmakers list at 12/1.

Given his 'retirement', it would seem unthinkable that Warnock would be in line to take up the reins at Rotherham.

But if his career has taught us anything, nothing is ever dull when Warnock is around.
