Former Kerry All-Ireland minor winning captain Danny Cahill has died following a car crash.
The former Laune Rangers player was involved in a two-vehicle collision in the Beaufort area on Sunday afternoon. He was the driver and only occupant of one of the vehicles.
Mr Cahill, 52, skippered his county's minors to victory in the All-Ireland final at Croke Park in 1988 when they beat Dublin - the first Laune Rangers clubman to captain Kerry to championship success.
