Tottenham's transfer window business continues, with the north London club still being linked with players across the world. Antonio Conte has already welcomed six new arrivals to his squad and seen two make a permanent exit.
Richarlison is the only one out of the new signings that has made his debut, with the others missing out on the first two pre-season friendlies for various reasons. Earlier this month, the Italian's comments indicated he wouldn't rule out further deals being completed.
"We’re always looking to strengthen the squad if there is the opportunity. We want to improve numerically the squad because to play four competitions is difficult and you need a really good squad," he said.

This has already been seen with Djed Spence's arrival and maybe there will be more to come. One player who hasn't been most heavily linked with Tottenham but has potentially dropped a transfer hint, is Federico Bernardeschi.
Earlier this month the Italian made the move to Toronto FC, from Juventus, where he had been since 2017. The 28-year-old made 183 appearances for the Serie A side and made 36 goal contributions.
A few years ago, Roberto Mancini was full of praise for the Italian international. "Federico has a lot of quality, especially for his age, and I believe he can become a real goalscorer, which is where his game is probably lacking right now. He has the potential to do it, can cover many different roles and that is a big advantage for both him as a player and his coach," he explained.
Last season, Bernardeschi made 28 Serie A appearances for the Juventus side who finished in fourth. The 28-year-old played in six different positions, mainly featuring as a winger.
The Italian seems happy with the move to his new club and doesn't believe he has anything to prove. "I won nine trophies playing for Juve. What more could I ask for? I have nothing to prove," he said.
However, whilst Bernardeschi was making these comments, he also admitted that a London club had put an offer in for him. "Yes, [I also had an offer] from London," the Italian explained.
"But I don’t say who. Let’s say that I admire Conte shamelessly." Although he doesn't reveal who the club are, the mention of the Tottenham boss straight after the comment, could suggest that is where the offer came from.
It wouldn't be too shocking if the 28-year-old was a player Conte was interested in bringing to N17. The Spurs manager has worked with Bernardeschi, during his time as Italy coach.
During Conte's chapter as Chelsea boss, the Italian was believed to be a huge admirer of the winger, not long after he had given Bernardeschi his international debut. The former Juventus player's versatility and strong qualities may have made him a good addition to Tottenham's squad.
Whether it was or wasn't Spurs who made the Italian the offer, he seems happy with his move to Toronto FC and Conte will continue focusing on making his own squad the strongest he can, ahead of the 2022/23 season.
