Former Inmate Endorses Trump Over VP Harris, Cites Track Record

U.S. VP Harris travels to South Carolina

Michael 'Harry-O' Harris recently made headlines by endorsing former President Trump over VP Kamala Harris, citing Trump's track record and specific initiatives that align with his organization's goals. Harris highlighted policies such as permanent funding for HBCUs, opportunity zones, the First Step Act, and legislation combating sickle cell anemia as reasons for his endorsement.

Recent polls indicate Trump's increasing support within the Black community, with many trusting his ability to deliver on promises. Harris expressed disappointment in the lack of tangible progress from the Biden-Harris administration, stating that there has been little done to elevate the Black community.

Despite his endorsement of Trump, Harris challenged both candidates to address real issues affecting the community. He emphasized the importance of practical solutions over empty promises, pointing out the economic challenges faced by many in the Black community.

Trump publicly acknowledged Harris's efforts to support Black Americans and build on his administration's initiatives.
