Former IBM offices to undergo £4.5m refurbishment

The former home of technology firm IBM is to be regenerated into a new office complex.

Lancashire property firm FI Real Estate Management has announced a £4.5 million plans to refurbish the two-storey building in Warwick to create new space, to be called ‘The Woods'.

Among the proposals for the site in Haywood Road are a new high-end reception, café and external landscaping.

The revamped development will have a variety of different-sized offices alongside space for co-working aimed at freelancers.

The fit out will be completed by Office Principles and more than half of the development has already been pre-let, according to FI Real Estate Management.

The firm added in a statement: "The Woods is an exceptional office space and we have been very excited about its refurbishment this year.

"We have been working closely with Office Principles to develop designs that will transform the space into vibrant offices with a contemporary look and feel.

"The development's location and the size of space available have already drawn major interest from the West Midlands and beyond."
