A H&M store unit that closed in the pandemic could have a new future.
The clothing shop in Bangor closed at the end of 2020 - along with the store in Wrexham.
It has been empty since then and city has also lost the nearby Debenhams store.
Now a proposal has been submitted by housing group Adra to take on the unit.
This would see them move their offices from Parc Menai business park - supporting a Welsh Government's 'town centre first' ambition.
Dewis Architecture, who have submitted the plans on behalf of Adra, said: "The proposal will enhance rather than have a detrimental impact on the character,vitality and viability of the primary retail areas
"Adra re-locating to Bangor high street would bring between 50-70 staff members to the high street Monday to Friday which will in turn contribute to the wider economy and encourages further A1 use on the high street."
Jackson Criss and joint agent Barker Proudlove have been marketing the site.
They said: "To date, the only credible offer we have received has been from an occupier who would requireB1/office use."
The application will now be considered by planners at Gwynedd council.
