Former Gogglebox star says 'pray for me' from 'horrible' Ibiza holiday

Former Gogglebox star Kate Bottley has urged fans "pray for me" while she is currently on holiday in Ibiza.

Rev Kate and her husband Graham were thrown into the spotlight when they joined the Gogglebox cast back in 2014. Kate and Graham were headhunted for the popular Channel 4 series after a video of a wedding she ministered went viral in 2013.

The clip showed a flash mob with Rev Kate dancing to Kool and the Gang in her full religious setup.

Kate and Graham share two children, Ruby and Arthur. When Rev Kate and her husband Graham were absent from the 2016 series, fans began to ask questions whether the couple would be returning.

Kate replied to one fan on Twitter: "Hi, our daughter has her GCSES so we needed a break from the cameras." But that was back in 2016, and the Bottleys have yet to return to the Gogglebox cast, My London reports.

Earlier this week, Kate and Ruby jetted off to Ibiza. On Wednesday, Kate shared a photo of the two of them sipping drinks under an umbrella by the pool, and she later shared a snap of two novels on Instagram, adding: "Poolside reading".

But on Thursday she shared a photo of herself looking shocked while holding a giant cocktail. In the photo, the reverend wore a huge floral headpiece and red sunglasses, with hooped earrings.

She simply said: "It's horrible here. #prayforme". Fans soon joined in on the joke, as Tim said: "Looks like you're having a terrible time, I'm so sorry" and Stephen said: "I hope you're coping".

Rachel said: "On a mum daughter holiday in zante and feeling your pain.... Its just exhausting [laughing emoji]".
