Former Manchester United striker Louis Saha has drawn comparisons between Marcus Rashford and Kylian Mbappe ahead of England's huge World Cup quarter-final showdown with France on Saturday night.
After comfortably getting through the group stage, England took another step towards the final at the Lusail Stadium on December 18 with a convincing 3-0 win over Senegal in the last-16 on Sunday evening. Goals from Jordan Henderson, Harry Kane and Bukayo Saka sealed Gareth Southgate's side's place in the last-eight, booking a date with reining World Cup holders France.
Much of the conversation since the fixture was confirmed has been about how England will deal with the threat of star man Mbappe. Many consider the Frenchman, who is the current leader in the race for the Golden Boot with five goals, as the best player in the world on current form.

While it promises to be a stern challenge for England to try and stop him, they have their own array of attacking stars that will be aiming to hurt France at the other end of the pitch. Although he didn't start the win over Senegal, United ace Rashford is the Three Lions' joint-top scorer in Qatar, so far netting three goals, and will have ambitions of earning a recall against Didier Deschamps' side.
And for former United goal-getter Saha, who played for the club between 2004 and 2008, Rashford is on par with Mbappe when he performs at the peak of his powers.
"I really like Marcus Rashford, you know he can be a starter, he's such a talent and threat," said Saha, as quoted by the Mirror. "When Rashford has the eye of the tiger, he's unplayable and at the same level as Mbappe.
"I love Harry Kane, but Rashford is just a humongous talent and I love to see him at this level. Kane is the best player, but Rashford is my favourite player in the England squad because of his style and I really enjoy watching him play.
"Rashford is more complete, but it does not mean he fits well in every game plan."
The United star, who has scored eight goals for the Reds so far this season, has started just one of England's four games at the World Cup so far, starting and scoring twice in the 3-0 win over Wales just over a week ago. He also scored after coming off the bench in the Three Lions' opening game against Iran.
