Following mass firings across the federal government last week, concerns have been raised about the impact on public safety and national security. A former Federal Aviation Administration employee highlighted the seriousness of the situation, stating that the American public should indeed be worried.
The Trump administration's claim that no individuals involved in public safety were terminated was disputed by the former employee, who described it as a 'flat-out false statement.' He revealed that he was among those fired from his position working on an FAA defense program in Hawaii, which focused on detecting incoming cruise missiles.

The ex-employee shared that he learned about his dismissal upon returning home from a work trip, during which he had received a briefing at an Air Force base. This sudden termination has raised questions about the potential impact on critical projects and programs related to national security.
