Former England goalkeeper Paul Robinson makes 'frightening' prediction for Liverpool youngster

Harvey Elliott announced his Liverpool return from injury with a stunning goal at Anfield on Sunday.

Elliott came on as a second half substitute in the FA Cup win over Cardiff City on Sunday afternoon and scored his first goal for the Reds as they progressed to the fifth round.

And former Tottenham and England goalkeeper Paul Robinson believes the return of Elliott will be a huge bonus for Liverpool going into the remainder of the season.

Indeed, Liverpool are fighting on four fronts and Elliott's return provides the Reds with another attacking outlet.

Jurgen Klopp has some tough decisions to make as he has a fully fit Liverpool squad to pick from for the first time in a long time.

“To see him come back from such a long lay-off and get his goal was amazing,” former Tottenham goalkeeper Paul Robinson told Football Insider.

“He is going to be a world-class player. He fits into that Liverpool side perfectly.

“They have been short in that midfield area so having him back will be like a new signing.

“At his age, with the ability and talent he has got, it’s frightening. He is only going to get better.”

There is certainly excitement in the air at Anfield with the likes of Elliott and Thiago Alcantara returning to the first team set up.
