Former Emmerdale star Sheree Murphy had viewers making the same remark as she surprised them at the British Soap Awards. The actress made an unexpected appearance at the British Soap Awards on Saturday night (June 3) which were recorded in front of a live audience at The Lowry theatre at Salford Quays.
But she wasn't seen on-screen until Tuesday night (June 6) when the glitzy, star-studded ceremony aired on ITV. Sheree, who is known for playing Tricia Dingle in Yorkshire-based soap, popped up alongside Gemma Atkinson and Verity Rushworth to surprise Emmerdale favourite Mark Charnock with one of the biggest prizes of the evening.
The actor, who is famed for playing loveable chef Marlon Dingle, won the Outstanding Achievement gong in recognition of playing the much-loved character more than 25 years, and was clearly overwhelmed with the gong.

Sheree, Gemma and Verity, who all played Marlon's wives or girlfriend in the soap, paid tribute to Mark as an "incredible actor" and reflected on his hard-hitting storylines over the years, including the most recent in which his character suffered a life-changing stroke.
And his heartfelt speech to the soap in which he appears, the cast and the fans left British Soap Awards viewers in tears. @teenamassam tweeted: "What a nice man, congratulations to Mark Charnock #britishsoapawards2023." @Noir4Moon posted: "Mark Charnock definitely deserves this. He is a superb actor. #BritishSoapAwards2023."
@Pongo81575019 shared: "Well deserved his portrayal of Marlon after the stroke was incredible well done that man #britishsoapawards2023." @raggedydocs posted: "Marlon dingle is one of my favourite soap characters of all time and I can’t think of anyone who deserves this award more than mark charnock I’m so happy for him #BritishSoapAwards." @candycain_ added: "I don’t even watch Emmerdale so why am I sat here sobbing at Mark Charnock winning the outstanding achievement award #BritishSoapAwards."
But all eyes were also on Sheree as fans couldn't believe her appearance. @Samanth22356123 tweeted: "Sheree Murphy doesn’t age!!! #britishsoapawards2023." @TraylorHolmes said: "Sheree Murphy hasn’t aged in 20 years #britishsoapawards2023@GregDav94758992 added: "Sheree Murphy #BritishSoapAwards2023 #BritishSoapAwards," alongside a love hear eyes emoji.
