Former Emmerdale star Patsy Kensit has given fans a health update after her recent soap exit.
Patsy Kensit, 54, played Sadie King in Emmerdale between 2004 and 2006. Elsewhere in her career, she appeared in Hollywood films Lethal Weapon 2 and Absolute Beginners.
In recent weeks, Patsy has enjoyed a part in rival soap EastEnders playing Emma Harding. The character is the mum of Lola Pearce who has been trying to live her life to the full despite being diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour.

In a recent episode, Lola was given the chance to fulfil her dying wish and reconnect with her biological mother. It would seem Patsy won’t be a permanent fixture in EastEnders with her seemingly confirming her Albert Square exit.
In doing so, Patsy also updated fans on recent health issues she’s encountered. Taking to Instagram, Patsy posted: “Great news this Friday that my severe chest infection I’ve nursed since December has now been diagnosed and I’m on the right antibiotics and need to convalesce for a bit and will be right back on my feet!”
She added: “Cannot thank my amazing cast members for the simply awesome experience I’ve had working on @bbceastenders for being so kind and loving to me. Big thank you to the BBC the producers, writers, crew and the EE family.
