Former Emmerdale star Cleveland Campbell's drastic new image and surprising career change after quitting soap

Former Emmerdale star Cleveland Campbell looks unrecognisable after leaving the ITV soap 14 years ago.

The 44-year-old, who played Danny Daggert from 2001 to 2007, also has a brand new career, far from acting.

Cleveland, from Rochdale, now works as the Creative Director for fast fashion giant BoohooMAN.

He joined the Manchester-based company in 2016, the Mirror reports.

His LinkedIn page says: "I specialise in developing businesses via PPC, SEO and Social Media.

"I have won the top Business Development Manager of the year award six years consecutively, I am extremely motivated and work well under pressure, I pride myself on being proactive and always look at different ways to generate business."

His Instagram, which has more than 5,000 followers, is filled with aesthetically pleasing posts, with edgy snaps of photoshoots and fashionable outfit posts.

He is often photographed in oversized and plain clothing, posing in front of artistic backgrounds.

He’s also captured alongside Umar Kamani, CEO of Pretty Little Thing, in one photo in Los Angeles.

The former soap actor has grown out his hair and sports a beard and nose ring.

Cleveland starred in almost 500 episodes during his stint in Emmerdale.

He also had roles in The Bill and Sunshine with Steve Coogan, and also appeared in pantomime at the Tameside Hippodrome.

Before he began acting on screens, he completed a performing arts course at Hopwood Hall College.
