Former Emmerdale and 'Allo 'Allo star Vicki Michelle to join EastEnders

A former Emmerdale star is joining the cast of rival soap EastEnders.

Vicki Michelle, 72, played Patricia Foster in Emmerdale between 2007 and 2009. According to The Sun, Vicki will play an undisclosed role but bosses are promising she’ll cause a stir.

A source said: “Bosses are keeping tight-lipped on her role, but she will definitely stir up some drama. Producers know she’s a talented actress and will go down a storm with fans.”

Elsewhere, Vicki is best known for her starring role in ‘Allo ‘Allo! where she played Yvette Carte-Blanche. In the sitcom, which spanned from 1982 to 1992, Vicki acted alongside Gordon Kaye with the show attracting 25 million viewers at its peak.

As we know, soapland is a small place with acting talents switching between shows. EastEnders has previously snapped up former Emmerdale star Patsy Kensit, 54.
