Former Dolphins WR Brian Hartline taken to hospital after ATV crash

Early Sunday morning former Miami Dolphins wide receiver Brian Hardline was brought to a local hospital in Ohio following an ATV accident on his property.

According to the Delaware County (Ohio) Sheriff’s Office, the crash took place around 1:20 a.m.

ESPN shared a statement from Ohio State, where Hartline is currently the offensive coordinator:

“Ohio State assistant football coach Brian Hartline and a friend, unaffiliated with Ohio State, were transported to Riverside Hospital early this morning with non-life threatening injuries sustained in an ATV accident on his property. According to Hartline, he is hoping to be released from the hospital later this evening.”

The former wideout then provided an update of his own on social media, thanking everyone for their well wishes.

Hartline, 36, was selected by the Dolphins in the fourth round of the 2009 draft. He spent six seasons with Miami, recording 298 receptions for 4,243 yards and 12 touchdowns. He played one final year for the Cleveland Browns in 2015 before moving to coaching in 2017.
