Throughout the offseason, the Miami Dolphins haven’t seen many players leave for different teams. They’ve actually been doing their best to keep their guys in Miami.
However, after free agency began and the Dolphins began signing free agents and trading for contributors, they opted to move on from offensive lineman Jesse Davis.
Davis, 30, went undrafted out of Idaho back in 2015, and after bouncing around from Seattle to New York during his first couple of seasons, he found a home in Miami. Over the last five years, Davis has played in 80 of 81 potential games for the Dolphins at different positions.
While he was one of the weaker spots on the line recently, Davis remained professional when dealing with the media and fanbase despite constant criticism.
Now, with the Vikings, Davis has posted a goodbye message to the Dolphins and their fans.
