Former DHS Secretary Criticizes Kamala Harris' Border Policies

Kamala Harris looks happy.

Former acting DHS secretary and executive director of the America First Policy Institute, Chad Wolf, expressed concerns over the current state of border security during a recent discussion. Wolf highlighted the frustration felt by individuals and communities impacted by policies that have led to increased immigration and security threats.

Wolf criticized Vice President Kamala Harris for her handling of border issues, citing a surge in illegal crossings and criminal activities. He pointed to a recent incident on Martha's Vineyard where an illegal immigrant was charged with child rape shortly after being released from prison.

Wolf emphasized the importance of cooperation between law enforcement agencies and ICE to prevent such incidents. He criticized sanctuary jurisdictions for failing to adhere to detainers and allowing repeat offenders to go free.

Regarding Harris's immigration policies, Wolf raised concerns about her advocacy for cutting ICE funding and detainers, which he believes would further weaken border security. He also questioned the effectiveness of a proposed pathway to citizenship for illegal immigrants, warning that it could incentivize more individuals to attempt illegal entry.

Wolf's remarks echoed sentiments shared by others, including J.D. Vance, who criticized Harris for allegedly opening borders to millions of illegal aliens and misleading the public about her actions. The debate over immigration policies continues to be a contentious issue, with differing views on how to address border security and immigration reform.
