Former Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano will be back coaching in 2025 with a new team.
The Baltimore Ravens are adding Pagano to their coaching staff as their senior secondary coach. Head coach Jim Harbaugh had this to say:
“It is exciting to add Coach Chuck Pagano to our defensive staff and continue to develop and grow our young and talented secondary. Chuck brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and coaching talent to our team. He has deep ties to the program and is excited to get to work.”
Pagano was, of course, the Indianapolis Colts’ head coach from 2012-2017. Pagano finished his run as the Colts’ head coach with a 53-43 record, which includes three 11 win seasons and three playoff berth, where he had a 3-3 record.
The last time Pagano coached was as the Chicago Bears defensive coordinator during the 2020 season. He also has a history with Harbaugh and the Ravens, being a part of the Baltimore coaching staff from 2008-2011.
Last season, the Ravens’ defense ranked 8th in completion rate, 17th in interceptions, 19th in yards per attempt allowed, and 15th in opponent passer rating.
