The Kansas City Chiefs earned a hard-fought win against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 1, and with 16 games remaining on their 2024 schedule, the defending Super Bowl champions are off to a hot start.
Despite their victory on Thursday night, Kansas City still has plenty of room to improve ahead of their next tilt against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 2.
Former Chiefs star Mitchell Schwartz gave his take on Kansas City’s performance against the Ravens in a post to Twitter on Friday, making it clear that he was impressed with what he saw from the team on both sides of the ball.
My biggest #Chiefs takeaway from last night: this team knows exactly who they are. They already have an identity. The defense is tough, physical, plays off each other, knows they’re good. The offense understands how all the pieces fit and who they want to be. Will be a fun year.

Clearly, the Chiefs are doing something right after knocking off a Baltimore team that is predicted to be one of the top contenders in the NFL this season.
Expect to see Kansas City build on their Week 1 performance against the Bengals on September 15 as the Chiefs look to get out to a 2-0 start to their 2024 campaign.
