Muirhouse's Kieran Tierney has been nominated for the Scottish Football Writers’ Association top international player after a great year for the Celtic hero.
Tierney's former Celtic teammate and Hearts goalkeeper Craig Gordon has been nominated along with 20-year-old Chelsea midfielder Billy Gilmour, currently on loan at Norwich City.
QPR's Lyndon Dykes and Aston Villa's John McGinn make up the five-man shortlist in a competitive category with Scotland going eight games undefeated.
Tierney joined Arsenal in 2019 after a brilliant time at boyhood club Celtic.
He's emerged as a key player for Scotland head coach Steve Clarke.
His form has attracted transfer attention, with La Liga giants Barcelona and Real Madrid believed to be interested.
The 24-year-old netted his first Scotland goal against Austria last week and will continue to play a major role in Clarke's 3-5-2 system on the international scene.
