Former Celtic star Kolo Toure is set to land a managerial gig in England, according to a report.
The Scottish Sun claim the ex-Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City defender will be named the new boss of English Championship struggles Wigan Athletic in an historic move. They report that club owner Talal Al Hammad has jetted into London to rubber the stamp the move for the current Leicester City coach.
Toure, who arrived at Celtic under Brendan Rodgers - is currently working under the same man at the Foxes but now looks set to go out on his own and take over with the Latics sitting 22nd in England's second tier. Leam Richardson, who led the club to promotion from League One last term, was axed on November 10.

The same report claims he may work with the staff already in place at Wigan but is likely to want his own man to come join him at the club. He's previously worked with the Ivory Coast and was appointed Celtic technical assistant in September 2017. After Rodgers' Parkhead departure, he followed 49-year-old back down south.
Toure played at the very top in his club career and won titles in England and Scotland. The 41-year-old also tasted domestic silverware in both lifting the FA and Scottish Cups.
He landed a whopping 118 international caps for the Ivory Coast, scoring six goals.
His first game in charge would come on December 10 away to Millwall before a home clash with high-flyers Sheffield United on December 19.
