Former Celtic Kendrick Perkins loves what Jayson Tatum is doing with Boston this season

If there is a former member of the Boston Celtics currently working in the media who is excited by what they have been seeing from star Celtics forward Jayson Tatum to start Boston’s 2022-23 campaign, it’s ESPN’s Kendrick Perkins.

The sometimes-also NBC Boston Sports analyst may be a bit of a homer for the teams he once played for — Boston included — but the 2008 Celtics champion is not wrong to be up for what Taco Jay has been laying down of late. A leading candidate for the NBA’s Kia 2023 Most Valuable Player award, the St. Louis native has been dominating for Boston so far this season.

To hear from the man himself why he is so excited to watch what the Duke alum has been doing, take a look at the clip embedded below to hear Perk rave about Tatum to his “NBA Today” cohosts after JT showed out in front of some special guests.
