Ronny Deila has claimed the Standard Liege fans are 'maybe better' than the Celtic supporter following the wild celebrations that came from beating Club Brugge.
The former Hoops gaffer watched on from the dugout as his troops produced a stunning display in a 3-0 Pro League win yesterday afternoon thanks to strikes from Philip Zinckernagel and William Balickwisha. The victory moved his side into fifth spot in the standings with nine matches played. They boast a record of five wins, one draw and three to date.
The Norwegian - who succeeded Neil Lennon at Celtic in 2014 - made the switch to Belgium after success in the MLS with New York City. At full-time of this big win, he was full of praise for his players and the loyal support. He also says it is a day in his management career that will live with him forever hailing it a 'special moment'.

He said: "This was a day that I will remember for the rest of my life. These are special moments.
"I was at Celtic before, but this is the same and maybe better.
"What the people here do to support the team is incredible. I am very proud of the players and the team.
"Winning is always good, but the most important thing is that you give everything. We are nothing without the players. They are everything.
"We have so much talent in this group. They showed what level they are at. Club Brugge is the strongest team I have seen in a long time. That also says something about our players."
