Former Old Firm pair Nir Bitton and Aaron Ramsey battled it out last night in the Europa Conference League.
The ex-Celtic and Rangers pair have moved on to new clubs for this season after their time in Scotland came to an end last term. Long-serving Bitton posted an emotional farewell as he brought an end to a hugely successful time at Parkhead. Meanwhile, Ramsey returned to Juventus following the end of his loan deal. He was the unfortunate player to miss in the Europa League Final shootout against Frankfurt, but he did land a Scottish Cup winners' medal during his time north of the border.
It's all change for the pair who are now fighting it out with their respective clubs to secure European group stage football. Bitton returned to his homeland on a two-year deal to join Maccabi Tel Aviv with former Arsenal and Wales international Ramsey taking on a new challenge in France with Nice. The midfielder has made a bright start to life with the French outfit, scoring almost instantly on his debut to secure an away point at Toulouse.
