Jason Galanis, a former business associate of Hunter Biden, is set to testify on Wednesday regarding his collaboration with President Joe Biden's son and their interactions with potential business partners. Galanis, currently serving a 14-year sentence for securities fraud, previously revealed details from prison about Joe Biden's purported contemplation of joining a board for a joint venture involving Hunter Biden and associates linked to the Chinese Communist Party post his vice presidency.
During his prior testimony, Galanis mentioned that the phrase 'lean in' was frequently used by Devon and Hunter in reference to gaining access to the political influence of then-Vice President Biden. Galanis is anticipated to assert that Hunter Biden's primary contribution to their business was his family name and the access it provided to his father.
Expected to testify remotely from prison, Galanis is also likely to discuss his alleged mistreatment in prison and being denied home confinement due to the investigation involving Hunter Biden.
