The XFL season has just ended on Sunday and NFL teams are already signing the studs and inviting players to camp. The upstart league has already had 11 players signed to NFL contracts and one of those players was a former Ohio State Buckeye, Antwuan Jackson.
Jackson had a great season for the Seattle Sea Dragons, earning 20 tackles with one being for loss, and earned a PFF score of 54. After Seattle was eliminated from the XFL playoffs, Jackson earned an invite to the Carolina rookie minicamp, where he dominated and earned a contract.
Jackson had an interesting path to Ohio State as he originally played at Auburn before making a pitstop in the JUCO ranks before finally landing in Columbus. He never dominated at Ohio State, but was a solid contributor and eventually went undrafted in 2022.
Jackson earned a shot with the New York Giants after but needed more seasoning to be NFL ready and he appears ready to roll with the Carolina Panthers after playing at such a high level in the XFL.
Work hard and determined, it's safe to say I earned it 💙🖤🤞🏾 pic.twitter.com/dLj1WawSAW

It’s great to see former Buckeyes making their way to the NFL no matter what journey they find themselves on.
