Former Browns HC appears to be taking his talents to the college level

Former Cleveland Browns head coach and long-time dynasty leader of the New England Patriots, Bill Belichick, is finalizing a deal to take over the North Carolina Football program.

Most known for his time after his tenure in Cleveland, Belichick was named the head coach of the Patriots five years after being fired by the Baltimore Ravens (after the move) in 1995. All Belichick did in New England was win six Super Bowls and three NFL Coach of the Year awards in his 24 years in the Boston area.

Belichick, however, agreed to leave his post as the head coach in New England after three losing seasons in a four-year span. He took the year off from coaching in 2024 but is now getting back in the game.

While his deal is not yet official, it has been reported that Belichick and the Tar Heels are finalizing a deal to name him the next head coach in Chapel Hill. This comes as another former Browns head coach, Freddie Kitchens, leads the team in their bowl game against UConn.

What a wild turn of events.
