The former boss of a stripper group has been found dead in a Nottinghamshire prison. A prisoner, who has been reported to be the ex-boss of male striptease group Dreamboys David Richards, was found dead in his cell at HMP Lowdham Grange on Monday, March 13.
As reported by The Mirror, Richards was jailed earlier this year after being found guilty of trying to kill his ex-partner after she kissed TOWIE star Kirk Norcross. Reports suggest the former Dreamboys boss was discovered dead in his cell, with the prison put into lockdown as a result.
An investigation by the Prisons and Probation Ombudsman will now take place into the death. A spokesperson for HMP Lowdham Grange said: “We can confirm that a prisoner died at HMP Lowdham Grange on March 13, 2023.

"The next of kin have been informed and our thoughts are with the family. As with all deaths in custody, there will be an investigation by the independent Prisons and Probation Ombudsman and therefore we are unable to comment further at this stage.”
Another man died at the Nottinghamshire prison on Monday, March 6. The prison, which changed hands from Serco to Sodexo last month, similarly said it could not give any further details in this case.
HMP Lowdham Grange holds nearly 900 male prisoners and has around 500 staff. Sodexo took on a 10-year contract from the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) from February 16, making it the French company's sixth prison across England and Scotland.
