Jones Jr. is a former five-star recruit. As a sophomore, Jones Jr. recorded 12 total tackles and a sack for Georgia. Now, Jones Jr. is looking for a new home. Florida State is expected to be a contender for Marvin Jones Jr. Jones Jr.’s father played for the Seminoles and Florida State has a good recent track record of developing pass rushers.
Marvin Jones Jr. appeared in 12 total games for Georgia in 2023. Jones Jr. will have two seasons of eligibility remaining. Jones Jr.’s departure is a significant loss for head coach Kirby Smart and Georgia football. The Bulldogs struggled defending the edge in 2023.
