Our go-to flavours say a lot about us – we literally call people ‘vanilla’ if they’re boring. So, I’d bet my bottom dollar that ice cream scoopers have a field day scoping us all out.
With so many options to dip our dessert spoons into, we can’t possibly cover them all. So, today, we’re zooming in on Ben & Jerry’s. We picked a bunch of the best flavours to inhale while on the couch, and we’re going to use them to read you like your astrologist does.

Around here, we love a safe and solid choice. Chunks of cookie dough and choc chips are mixed into vanilla ice cream in this one. Delicious? Yes. But certainly one of the less extreme, look-at-me flavours on the Ben & Jerry’s spectrum. At a party, you’re the person who is standing in the corner and eating snacks, or quietly patting the dog until it’s an acceptable time to leave. But, you’re also a solid and loyal friend so good for you!
The two flavours above became one in this mash-up for people who love the best of both worlds. It’s the perfect double-the-fun pint to have stocked in the freezer for when various couch-cravings strike. Fans of this flavour are often indecisive and always reckon the grass is greener on the other side. You’ve already changed careers four times, but you better believe the next one is around the corner. You’re always trying new hobbies and tend to drift off in conversations.
One for the free spirits among us! This is the flavour with the little chocolate fishies buried in it, so you probably enjoy digging up treasures in your spare time. Life is too short not to see what’s under the ground around us so we reckon you rally the group for a regular adventure and defs own a metal detector for fun beach days.
You love a challenge, hey? Hacking into this top chocolate layer takes time but you love to work for your tasty reward. This bad boy is also a deconstructed tiramisu in a pint, so you have a classy palate. Determined and responsible, you’re probably the friend who plans the group trip, loves a spreadsheet, dresses super well and never misses a gym sesh. And, how do you save enough dosh to head to Italy every summer? Help me.
One of my colleagues analysed this one, as I could not be impartial. How could I when this one has it ? Choc and caramel ice cream, gobs of chocolate chip cookie dough AND peanut butter cookie dough. I’m drooling.
Anyway, my colleague threw this blasphemy out: “If you like ‘s Tonight Dough ice cream, you’re the one in the friendship group who fake laughs at every little joke to the point where you kill the mood”. Obviously, I consider this slander. In actual fact, I say we bring a lot of good vibes to every scenario and people want us to leave.
Although, I will reluctantly admit I do love a cheeky fake laugh from time to time… Just let us live, (fake) laugh and love in peace, world!
