Work is set to start this month on a new holiday complex set among 400 acres of woodland in the stunning Welsh countryside.
Forest Holidays will open 40 eco-sensitive cabins for overnight stays at Garwnant on the southern edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park.
This will be the company’s 12 th UK location and second in Wales, after the Snowdonia park opened in 2018. Garwnant will be the sixth Forest Holidays location within a national park and has been carefully designed to integrate with the natural environment.
The 40 eco-sensitive timber cabins are designed to allow guests to immerse themselves in nature and come with large decked outside spaces.

Accommodation choices range from the stylish Golden Oak Hideaway cabins made for two to more-spacious Golden Oak Treehouses which sleep up to 10 guests.
There will also be several White Willow Premium cabins, complete with extra features including outdoor kitchens containing a pizza oven, barbecue, and fridge.
This multi-million-pound investment will create local year-round jobs and become a significant new addition to South Wales growing tourism economy. It will offer visitors a new and unique overnight experience in Garwnant.
Forest Holidays champions sustainable tourism, which encourages guests to visit local attractions, explore the surrounding areas and eat, drink and shop locally during their stay. Current park locations include the Forest of Dean, Delamere Forest, Sherwood Forest and Snowdonia.
A two-bedroom Silver Birch cabin at Garwnant, Brecon Beacons, is £520 for a 4-night stay on January 2, 2023. Bookings are now open for stays from December 19, 2022, to December 14, 2023, at www.forestholidays.co.uk
