Forensics officers called to street after reports of serious assault in Sneinton

Nottinghamshire Police have issued an update after a number of police vehicles were seen in Sneinton. A heavy police presence has been reported on Sneinton Boulevard on Wednesday, January 11, including the Crime Scene Investigation van and the Tactical Support Group.

It has been reported that a "serious assault" took place at an address on the road over the weekend on Saturday, January 7. A police spokesperson has said: “Officers are investigating reports of a serious assault at an address in Sneinton Boulevard on the evening of Saturday 7 January.

"It is believed that two people – a man and a woman – were assaulted. Officers would like to speak to anybody who heard or saw anything suspicious in and around this area at around 11pm on Saturday evening.
