A police probe is ongoing after a man was found dead in Bishopbriggs.
Officers were alerted to the grim discovery on a footpath near Auchinairn Road at the junction of Woodhill Road around 12:20am this morning.
Emergency services attended and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say the death is currently being treated as unexplained.
Officers remain at the scene whilst enquiries are ongoing. A forensic tent is also in place.
Auchinairn Road is currently closed to traffic as a result of the police activity at the scene.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Around 12.20am on Monday, June 13, police received a report of an unresponsive male on a footpath near Auchinairn Road (junction of Woodhill Road) Bishopbriggs.
