Forensic police officers have been seen combing for evidence at a scene where the body of a Scots woman was found on Saturday night.
Police raced to Learmonth Crescent in West Calder last Saturday, May 7, just before 7pm.
They discovered the body of a 26-year-old woman in a property, who was later identified as local mum of two, Aimee Cannon.

Forensic officers have since arrived at the scene today as they continue their enquiries into the death, which Police Scotland is currently treating as “unexplained.”
Locals today saw several police vehicles parked at the scene as police cordoned off large parts of Learmonth Street.
According to The Daily Record, forensics were joined by detectives on Monday morning.
A police spokesperson previously told the Record: “Police Scotland are carrying out enquiries into the death of a 26-year-old woman following a call to an address in West Calder at around 6.40pm on Saturday, May 7.
"A post mortem examination will be carried out in due course however the death is being treated as unexplained."
Tributes were pouring in for Aimee from devastated loved ones on Monday.
One person said: "Cant believe I'm reading this, taken far too soon.
"Always had a good wee laugh whenever we seen each other.
"My thoughts go out to the family at this awful time.
"Rest in peace lovely."
Another added: "In shock.
"Much love to your kids and family.
"R.I.P Aimee Cannon."
A further tribute said: "R.I.P Aimee Cannon, another one taken far too young."
