Met Office announces yellow weather warning affecting Nottinghamshire today

Met Office forecasters have warned of travel delays and cancellations as a yellow weather warning is put in place for Nottinghamshire. Experts said heavy fog could be in place up until 11am on Tuesday, November 29.

Commuters are being warned to expect 'slower journey times with delays to bus and train services possible', while 'there is a chance of delays or cancellations to flights'. Tuesday is expected to be mainly cloudy in Nottingham, with a chance of some sun peering through at about 9am.

The current forecast shows cloud throughout the day with some mist expected around 1pm. Highs of around 6C are expected. Unfortunately, the weather is not expected to pick up this week, according to the current projections.
