Forbidden Fruit Festival 2023: First wave of acts revealed for June Bank Holiday festival including Slowthai and Honey Dijon

Forbidden Fruit Festival is returning for the eleventh year on the grounds of the Royal Hospital Kilmainham this June Bank Holiday Weekend with one of its hottest line-ups to date.

Running from Saturday and Sunday of the June Bank Holiday weekend the festival, which takes place right in the heart of Dublin city centre, promises revellers a plethora of international and local acts spanning a variety of genres.

Among the top names revealed in the first round, Forbidden Fruit has announced are Eric Prydz, Central Cee, Rina Sawayama, Ben Böhmer and Knucks, with plenty more announced and a great deal more yet to be put on the bill.

Mercury Prize-nominated rapper Slowthai will also join other names including Romy of The xx who will be bringing her solo project to Forbidden Fruit for the first time as well as German producer and techno DJ Southstar on the bill for his Irish debut.

Beyonce collaborator and Grammy Nominated artist Honey Dijon will also bring her distinct blend of techno, disco and house music to the no-camping festival.

Finishing up the first set of acts announced for the festival are Eliza Rose, DJ Ez, George FitzGerald, Sudan Archives, Wesley Joseph, Malaki, Interplanetary Criminal, X CLUB, SHERELLE, April, Yung Singh, P-rallel, Pretty Girl, Surusinghe, LUXE, plus many more to be announced.

Weekend Tickets for Forbidden Fruit Festival 2023 go on general sale Friday, 3 February at 9 AM via Ticketmaster and other usual outlets priced from €129 including the booking fee.
