• An article incorrectly included Sex, Lies, and Videotape among films produced by Harvey Weinstein. His Miramax company was the film’s distributor but was not involved in its production (“‘People have forgotten how far Weinstein’s damage went. It hasn’t gone away’”, 20 April, p13).
• The main photograph accompanying an article about a new television series (“Reality TV comes to the Cotswolds. Oh, how jolly!”, 20 April, p40) was said to show “Witney, in Oxfordshire, and the rolling Cotswold hills”. The aerial view was actually of the nearby village of Stanton Harcourt. This error was in the print edition only. Also, it ought to have been made clear that images depicting the surface of Mars and the Rosalind Franklin Mars rover were illustrations rather than photographs (“Is there life on Mars? Why the hunt for aliens is also a quest for humanity”, 20 April, p3).
• An article referred to the founders of the United States taking up arms “during the American civil war”; the intended reference was of course to the revolutionary war, or war of independence (“Oklahoma City 1995 ...”, 20 April, p33).
• A recipe for sausages and black-eyed beans (13 April, Magazine, p20) omitted to say when to add the beans; they should be introduced with the hot stock.
