Illustrations by Somnuek Klangnok or Kru Parn have been featured on tote bags, T-shirts, furniture, Line stickers and in other collaborations.
Pyjamas and loungewear are set to follow as the Thai artist has partnered with Vintel for The Dream Garden collection.
"By coincidence, my wife and I have Vintel pyjamas in our wardrobe but we were not aware that they were made by a Thai designer," said Kru Parn. "When Vintel contacted me, I did not hesitate to work with the brand for this collection."
Vintel founder and creative director Rattiya Worarat was captivated by one of his cute female characters with flowers adorning her hair.
"The first time I saw Kru Parn's works, I was particularly attracted to this charming yet mischievous girl with big round eyes, who exudes confidence, happiness and self-esteem," said Rattiya. "The more you look at her, the more you become infatuated. So I thought of transferring Kru Parn's art into a Vintel collection."
The key prints feature a young lady, dressed in a floral or checkered gown. The flowers on her hair further bloom across the whole print. In The Dream Garden, butterflies and birds represent freedom as well as a friend of Kru Parn's beauties.
Other prints feature his character lying on a field of flowers or under the sea, with coral, shells and starfish replacing the blossoms.
Vintel's sleepwear and loungewear are made from soft, lightweight, and antibacterial natural bamboo fabric, suitable for Thailand's hot and humid climate as well as people with sensitive skin.
The Vintel X Parn collaboration extends to limited-edition cushions, bed sheets, pillowcases and blankets also made from bamboo fabric.
Until March 15, The Dream Garden collection is available at the Vintel pop-up at Iconsiam's Rassada Hall. Other retail locations include Central Eastville, Siam Premium Outlet, Siam Center and Siam Paragon.
