- Burger chain Red Robin is offering a Burger Pass. Cardholders will get a free burger and bottomless sides daily the entire month of May. The total value of the card, which sells for $20, is $682.
May is National Burger Month, meaning you can expect many fast-food chains to offer specials. Red Robin might have the biggest of them all this year, though.
The burger joint with nearly 500 locations in North America has announced it will offer a Bottomless Burger Pass to customers lucky enough to snag one. For $20, passholders will be entitled to a burger (which the company offers in over 20 styles) and bottomless sides every day from May 1 through May 31.
The passes will go on sale at 9:00 a.m. MT/ 11:00 a.m. ET on Thursday, April 17, on Red Robin's website. Act fast if you hope to get one. The restaurant warns "passes could sell out in minutes."
The pass will pay for itself in just one day. Holders can get up to $22 worth of food each day. If they take advantage of it every day the deal is offered, they'll consume $682 worth of burgers and sides, which include fries (natch), Caesar salads, drinks, milkshakes, and…steamed broccoli.
If an entire month's worth of hamburgers every day isn't enough for you, Red Robin will host a contest during National Burger Month where the winner gets free burgers for a year. That seem like a bit too much of a good thing? You can also win an all-expenses-paid vacation package.
Fast-food companies are still leaning into lowering prices after a spike in prices last summer scared away many customers. Many are also bringing back discontinued fan-favorite items to lure customers back to stores.
