Football Manager legend says Liverpool target Jude Bellingham is 'best wonderkid' in football

Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham is the "best wonderkid in the world" amid interest from several top club's around Europe, including Liverpool.

Former USA international, Freddy Adu, believes the 19-year-old should be the subject of a lot of interest from Premier League club's in the summer after impressing during his time in Germany.

Bellingham has been linked with a move to Liverpool and Real Madrid in the summer transfer window with Dortmund reportedly wanting a fee of over £100million for the England international.

The midfielder is one of the most sought after players in European football and already has four goals in the Champions League this season after helping Dortmund qualify for the last 16 of the competition.

Adu rose to prominence as a player in his early teens and once had trials with Manchster United. His name will be familiar to many who used to play the games Football Manager and Championship Manager.

On the subject of modern day 'wonderkids', Adu told Offers.Bet : "Right now I would have to say Jude Bellingham. The reason for saying Bellingham is that for someone at the age of 19, the way he plays and the impact he is having, he's playing like someone with 10 years more experience in the game - and that is very rare to see.

"And he's doing it for a big team in Germany. If you look past the slightly older Mbappe and Haaland, you'd have to say Bellingham. He's a midfielder that makes a massive difference.

"He should be linked with the big teams in England, because he deserves to be linked with those teams. I don't think he's going to stay at Dortmund for very long. I think someone is going to sign in for big, big money."
