Around 3,600 football fans will be sleeping under the stars at a £184-a-night World Cup tented ‘village’ in Qatar.
The move is the latest by World Cup organisers facing huge demand for accommodation.

The village of 1,800 tents - each with two single beds - is on a beach close to Qatar’s capital Doha.
Organisers FIFA have just unveiled the ‘Qetai Island Fan Camp’.
Every supporter will be offered free access to the Qetaifan Beach Festival, serving ‘international beverages’, offering 50 dining options and a supermarket.
Various artists and international DJs will be giving live concerts and performances, with two big beaches for water sport activities between games.
Fans looking for more upmarket accommodation can opt for a caravan at £172 per night per person.
‘Caravan City’ has roll-top baths with gold fittings, marble lined showers, sitting areas with thick carpets and wide-screen TVs.
Omar al-Jaber, executive director of Qatar 2022 Supreme organising committee, said: “We expect more than 1m fans, and we have more than 100,000 rooms available.
“We will be under pressure until the first match, and we are ready for that.
“Our message to everyone is that you have to have a fan ID, a match ticket and accommodation.”
England and Wales are among the nations who have applied for most tickets so far for the big kick-off on November 20.
Cruise ships, hotels and flats will house fans from around the world, along with tents and chalets in other fan villages.
