This is the scene of a car fire on a busy Dublin motorway earlier this evening.
Footage shows a car bursting into flames and emitting thick black smoke while other road users looked on in horror as the fire engulfed the car. The incident happened on the M50 at Junction 6 Blanchardstown at around 6pm.
In footage shared with Dublin Live, a car is engulfed by flames with thick, black smoke rising from the vehicle. The smoke was visible to drivers passing on the opposite side of the motorway.

It is not known if any injuries were reported in relation to the incident.
Gardai confirmed to Dublin Live that they received reports of the incident. Dublin Live has contacted Dublin Fire Brigade for comment.
