New footage has emerged of the moment a family seemingly left a West Country pub without paying. The group ordered cocktails and a three-course meal racking up £251 bill during a special Father's Day lunch.
The Fisherman's Arms in Newlyn, shared CCTV footage following the incident which left the business out of pocket and staff upset. The customers, two couples with a toddler and baby, had allegedly said they would be back after a smoke on Sunday (June 18) but never returned. Lucy, the pub manager, explained that one of the men came up to the bar and had a look at the bill but it was never paid.
He said the women were in the toilet and that after going out for a cigarette they would come back to settle up, but they left and the bill was never paid. In the video at the top of this page you can see the moment two of the men left the pub, near Penzance, appearing to shush one another, reports Cornwall Live.

Lucy added that the table of six had enjoyed a three-course Sunday roast complete with cocktails and food for the young children. She also recalled it was the first time the restaurant, which had only been open seven months, had been left short. Lucy said: "They are not from round here, you want to trust people, but this wasn't an accidental walk off.
"You can see one of the men shushing the other as they walk away on the CCTV." The pub shared images and CCTV of the family on Twitter and Facebook in a bid to locate them.
A pub spokesperson wrote on social media: "We are very upset to be putting up a post like this. We have had a family come in today and rack up quite a large bill then leave without paying. If anyone knows the people in the photo please get in touch we unfortunately have no name or contact number for them."
Speaking to CornwallLive today (Tuesday, June 20) Lucy said: "We've had a lot of people call in saying they know them, or know of them, so we're passing all of the information we get onto police and are hoping they will be able to get there somewhere with that.
"It's been so overwhelming and the messages we're getting on Facebook, the phone calls we've had and the amount of people coming in. It's been so lovely having so much support from people. Hopefully other businesses will have seen it and if they did turn up to another business now they would be aware of it."
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police are aware of an incident where it is alleged that a group of people left The Fisherman's Arms in Newlyn without paying their bill, late afternoon on Sunday 18 June. Enquiries continue into this matter.
"Anyone with any information that could assist the police is asked to contact 101 quoting case reference 50230172827."
