Chaotic scenes at a Calvin Harris gig on Saturday have been caught on camera as fans were filmed jumping over barriers to get into standing.
The incident, filmed at Hampden Park on Saturday evening, shows the shameful behaviour of some audience members who compromise the safety of others in attendance.
At the start of the footage, one fan can be seen leaping over a barrier inside a seating area as many others line up behind a gate and try to push their way through.
Security guards desperately try to intervene but the carnage continues when others feel emboldened to join in and continue to jump over the barriers.
Bewildered staff try to warn revellers to stay seated but many continue to slip through and guards are forced to attend to a larger crowd trying to escape at a gate.
Dozens more can be spotted hurling themselves out of seating and sprinting into the crowd.
One man who tries his luck is caught by a security guard who can be seen tackling him to the ground.
While staff manage to apprehend the man and force him back into seating, a considerably large crowd of revellers can be seen running into the crowd after making their way over a barrier.
As more security staff attend the incident, police officers also respond to the chaotic scenes.
The man who was earlier apprehended by security is then led away by police as shocked gig-goers look on.
The footage has now been viewed thousands of times on social media as many slammed fans for being inconsiderate.
One said: "This is exactly why things like this get cancelled and ruined because people can’t behave themselves.
"Men and women trying to do a job and getting assaulted and pushed around. Terrible tbh."
Another added: "Absolutely ridiculous. Whoever jumped the fence should be ashamed of themselves.
"I hope they do realise that they’ve had the seating area included in the tickets for a reason. That overcrowding in standing areas can lead to disaster. They were lucky that nothing bad happened.
"Should all be caught and banned from gigs."
And a third said: "It's hard watching people finding this hilarious knowing my colleagues were in the thick of it trying to safely do their jobs while the public we try our hardest to protect go out their way to make it dangerous.
"I'm honestly absolutely livid . People don't seem to realise this kind of behaviour results in serious injury and sometimes death. Disgusting is the only word for it."
Police Scotland and DF Concerts have been contacted for comment.
