Food fan shares 'absolutely delicious' McDonald's fries hack leaving viewers stunned

McDonald's fries are a comfort food for many, and few order anything from the fast-food chain without accompanying their meal with the iconic chips.

However, many will have noticed that while burgers and puddings can change on the menu, the chips tend to stay the same. While you may get some sauces to come with your fries, McDonald's don't typically change the way they serve their popular side.

But TikTok user Dorian, who posts under the username @dorianjessica and owns Dory's Little Scents, has recently shared a way to make loaded fries out of a Macdonald's order

The social media user proclaimed that they are going to be making loaded fries with "a little bit of a twist on it". Dorian then pours the chips into a bowl and begins tearing up two chicken big mac burger buns.

"Not only is it going to have the Big Mac sauce on it… it’s going to have the cheesy goodness on it as well," she said.

After adding pickles as well as some sour cream and chive dip, she continues: "Last but not least, we’re going to need to drizzle on some barbecue [sauce], and that’s it."

With more than 2 million views and tens of thousands of likes, viewers were clearly impressed with the viral food hack. Hundreds took to the comments to share their thoughts as well as suggesting alternative ideas.

One user wrote "This but with kfc gravy on top," while another commented: "I work in McDonald’s, I’m making this for my break, but minus the bbq sauce cause I hate that."

A third added: "Looks banging but I don’t like pickles," while a fourth user suggested: "This but add beef burger in as well. Need the chicken/beef combo"

Recently, Chronicle reporter Aaron Morris gave the viral cooking hack a try for himself, awarding them four out of five stars.

He said: "Taste-wise, this TikToker seems to have found the perfect balance in terms of flavour and texture. The crispiness of the fries and chicken stands strong despite the copious amounts of sauce involved, and the crunch of the pickle also stays structurally tall."

Aaron continued: "Overall, I'm fairly happy with this new TikTok creation, and although it won't exactly be on the top of my list when I next visit my local Maccies, it's certainly something that I'm glad I trialled.

"I'm sure that many of you will have divisive opinions with regards to this one, so do yourselves a favour..."
